Religious Community Services
An inside look at the remarkable tasks being performed by this organization. Written and directed by Bob Swanson, this was shot in numerous locations over several days. Different versions of this were produced to inform the public, recruit volunteers, raise funds, and involve religious groups.
Some people think that politics is a game. Advertising this referendum issue for St. Pete Beach, Florida, took that issue literally. The board game was made for the commercial and was a recreation of Gulf Boulevard with toy block buildings similar to the actual street. Drama was added to visuals by using lighting effects on the prop as well as in our studio backdrop. Depth was accomplished by using macro settings on the camera. The angles and moves were made possible by mounting the camera on our jib.
A single message from several Pinellas County Florida official voices made morphing a useful creative approach for this spot. All spokespersons were shot in our studio with particular attention paid to positioning to facilitate the best morphing. The high quality of the special effect was achieved using Shake compositing.
We recreated a press conference in the Florida Governor’s office in our studio for this advocacy commercial. Bonnie Agan plays the role of the Governor’s secretary. The large “press corps” group was actually done with only three voices.
Political spots don’t have to be hard hitting to get the message across. This one used humor very effectively for this Florida House race. Lanny Fuettere gives a great character voice read to make Big Al a friendly believable guy.
This is one spot in a long running campaign for this Tampa law firm that we have produced for several years now. We developed a style and format that has helped establish identity for the firm, provides background on their services, and meets the requirements of the Florida Bar Association while conveying a high quality image. Several scripts are done on location in each day of shooting. In some cases we shoot with two cameras to insure continuity and provide flexibility in editing. Our location lighting was done with warm tones in mind to convey sincerity. A stock reel of office shots for supporting scenes, used throughout the campaigns was blocked in advance and shot in just one day to minimize office disruption.
