This commercial was shot on the USF St. Petersburg, Florida, campus. Recorded in high definition, it was distributed into the nearby downtown movie theater for pre-film advertising. Featuring a look at campus life using real USF students, student government helped with the casting and booking of all the talent. Shot in one day at locations all over campus and on downtown streets. The most complicated scene was the dorm room, since it was in a new building still under construction.
Hopes Breakfast Introduction
Telling the brief story of the Habitat mission, this video was used to set the stage for their annual fund raising kickoff event. We built this using extra b-roll footage from producing the full length video. Teaser clips of interview audio along with a poignant music track make this very effective.
Overrated
This makes car pooling look attractive for more reasons than just saving money. Scouting sites is always more critical when shooting with location sound. We thought we had this one nailed an a little used side street. Well… first there was the lawn service and their leaf blowers, then the shoot ran into the lunch hour and everyone left the building in the background and kept driving by us to se what was going on rather than heading out the other direction.
Scene from “Descansos”
A short clip from the independent film “Descansos.” CMR Studios did all the post production work on the film including sound design, ADR, sound sweetening, and the full video edit.
