It takes a lot to make location shooting come together. A lot of experience is the first necessity. Then there's a lot of equipment.

Our camera package includes the state-of-the-art RED ONE Digital Cinema Camera and 35mm Arri and Cooke cinema lenses. Our Sony HDV cameras can also be equipped with the RedrockMicro Cinema Lens mount, to utilize a variety of 35mm prime lenses. HD video monitors and wired and wireless audio gear round out the technical packages. We have lighting for all situations, large spaces to small, directing natural light or creating our own sun with HMI. Camera supports include Miller tripods, Manfrotto fluid heads, camera boom, vehicle mounts, a camera dolly on track and a versatile Matthews "Round-d-Round" doorway dolly. If we need electricity we fire up our generators and have silent AC power from inverters. All of it is ready to roll to anywhere in our grip truck that also carries comfort items like electric fans, coolers, a pop-up canopy, chairs and tables for craft services.

Proper location selection is key to a project's success. Of course your location may actually be... your own. We have experience with a wide variety of businesses and offices, parks, (city and theme) golf couses, neighborhoods, city streets, highways, airports, schools, factories, gyms, in and on cars, trucks, vans, boats, busses and retail outlets as well as about every type and size of construction site. We scout locations that will fit the script, while paying particular attention to potential interference that would interrupt a shooting schedule.

There are always challenges when on location, but often it presents outstanding creative options and adds a new dynamic to every production.
